Why Us?

We’re far from generalists.
We focus on core competencies to help you get justice.
Learn more about WHY we do what we do.

The Plaintiff Law Group (TPLG) has only one focus – to be the most responsive and transparent law firm in the country. We want our clients to understand the litigation they are involved in, so they can better assist us in their representation. We will be honest about expectations and will not shy away from the difficult discussions that always arise in a combative world like personal injury law. We are partners with our clients, working together on their respective cases to get the best possible result.

Richard Paxton

PRESIDENT, MANAGING DIRECTOR AND CO-FOUNDING PARTNER

Richard graduated South Texas College of Law in 1997 and began his litigation career in Tyler, Texas, as an Assistant District Attorney. It was in this East Texas venue that Richard honed his litigation skills and cemented his love of law and belief in providing a voice for those in need.

In returning to his Houston home a few years later, Richard has gone on providing that voice for those in need, with representation in State and Federal courts, against big insurance companies, drug companies, and medical device manufacturers.

His warrior mentality provides the perfect combination of strategy and experience when facing defendants that have harmed the clients represented by The Plaintiff Law Group. His wisdom and courtroom savvy, make him a perfect mentor to associate attorneys and co-counsel alike.

Rick Tadrick

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND CO-FOUNDING PARTNER

Rick brings 35 years of successful, executive-level management experience to The Plaintiff Law Group. Starting his career in the banking industry, Rick managed banking operation earnings of more than a billion dollars annually. He found a calling in the personal injury field of law, in 2007, and has spent the last 10 years developing necessary relationships with other litigation firms, attorneys and ancillary services needed for the client’s successful case resolution. With his business acumen, combined with his unique understanding of the litigation process, it gives the clients of The Plaintiff Law Group an added advantage most firms can’t match.

Stephanie Cypkin

CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER AND CO-FOUNDING PARTNER

After early admission into the Class of 2000 at Duke University, Stephanie returned from college to her home in Pembroke Pines, Florida, taking a position with various Real Estate/Title law firms. Stephanie did post closings and solved complex title problems for her law firms for the next six years, before accepting the position of Mass Tort Supervisor for a local attorney firm.

While spending ten years managing and developing that firm’s Mass Tort division, Stephanie established herself as one of the most knowledgeable resources in the country, for many mass tort litigations. Her college interests in the medical sciences have proven to be invaluable as litigations develop and her colleagues within the industry often call on her expertise when they have questions.

The numerous industry relationships that Stephanie has developed over the years in her Mass Tort role, help the clients of The Plaintiff Law Group have a better understanding of the processes of the tort and a better expectation of their case resolution.

Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth.
